Well slowly getting this thing back together. In this update not much visual progress. Been reinstalling the wiring harness and checking everything to make sure its working. got all the front end lighting working as well as all the stuff in the cab. Put the dash gauge cluster back in. Got the clutch all hooked up and working, steering column is in, but needs a little adjustment still, parking brake handle and cable back in. Only real wiring left to do is undo the wiring to the coil as I am swapping the HEI that was in the truck back to factory points and coil and then splice the truck back up light wiring to the switch wiring that is for a 68 Chevelle. Hopefully only in a week or so I will be ready to plop the bed back down onto the frame.

Had to mock up the steering wheel and shifter in to see a glimpse of the finished look.

E xcellent! When you get that transmission cover on, you won’t be able to see the garage f loor at all, which makes me quite envious.

That g as pedal isn’t going to work well with your stilettos. I’d go with something a little bigger.

lol, these trucks have a floor mounted pedal, so carpet has to be installed before the pedal can go int. In either 69 or 71 they went to a hanging style pedal.
